International Business Development Executive, Trade, Government, Academics at Euromonitor International

Overview of the role:
The International Business Development Executive is responsible for increasing new business sales of our online services and other information products to government, trade and academic organizations in North America.

Key responsibilities:
Prospect new clients and initiate relationships with key decision making individuals within academic institutions, trade organizations and government departments in North America. Discover business derivers and strategic planning gaps to fully understand opportunities to meet the client?s objectives. Prepare business intelligence solutions, cost estimates and contract documents. Manage sales cycle from prospect to closing independently, discuss progress with management and develop solutions to improve closing ratio.

Skills/Proficiencies required:
Bachelor?s degree required, MBA is valued
Proven consultative sales experience
Direct experience in selling to trade and government accounts, domestic and international preferred
Formal training and education in consultative sales, marketing and economics is an advantage
Passion for international affairs, business economics and corporate strategic planning Goal-oriented, creative and self-motivated; excellent time management skills
